polishing glass

when cars are new the glass has a smooth feel and looks highly polished like its a panel. this goes away after a few months. wondering if anyone has come across a video training file that shows what products to by and step by step process for doing this?

You can hammer down on all your exterior glass surfaces with a DA or rotary polisher. Any modern polish or cutting compound will do the trick. You're not actually polishing the glass, just deep cleaning it. Polishing would infer the removal of the substrate, glass is hard AF.

after i DA on the glass, or even just washing the car, i give the windshield a quick ceramic spray coat (i like Turtle Wax Hybrid ceramic (green label), it leaves the glass super slick/smooth. I also use this stuff after every hand wash on the car panels.
