This near-flawless example of a N54 powered M Sport E60 sort of fell into my lap. I was helping the previous owner sort out a clerical error with the title. When the DMV fixed it, we made a deal on the car! Apparently his wife wanted something with a back-up camera (which this lacks lol). Anyway, I'm in two minds about selling it because its an absolute rocket ship that looks and drives like a much newer vehicle! Nevertheless, I have a 2 car garage in San Diego and already have an E92 335i and F16 X5, so this one draws the short straw! Before I put it for sale anywhere else, I thought I'd offer it here first because this beautiful unmolested example really deserves to be enjoyed by an enthusiast. Preferably someone who's not going to get annoyed they can't see their Instagram likes while hurtling down the highway

Here is all the information I would want in a for-sale ad. If I've missed anything, just ask!

$12,900
80,500 Miles
Clean Title on Hand
Brand new Good Year Eagle tires all around
Both original keys and manuals
Alpine White on Black Dakota Leather
VIN: WBANW1C56AC168479

Please use Mdecoder.com to see all the options. Notable ones are of course the M Sports Package, Heated Front Seats and Comfort Access.

Clean CARFAX (no reported accidents or damage). CARFAX snapshot is pictured below. If you'd like the whole thing, please PM or text me with your email address. I do not have any service records other than what shows up on the CARFAX. Previous owner assured me he kept up with all recommended maintenance at a small independent that does not report to CARFAX. While I have no reason disbelieve him based on the how well it runs and drives, I would expect some deferred maintenance and have priced the car with that in mind.

No known modifications, everything looks stock. The thick Msport leather trimmed steering is perfectly weighted with no play off center. Tracks true and straight while accelerating, cruising, and braking The twin turbo inline-six engine revs freely and smoothly, and acceleration is effortless. The 6-speed automatic transmission shifts up smoothly when accelerating, and downshifts with no abnormal jerkiness when under load. Suspension is taught while being well-dampened, this sedan corners flatly and changes direction on a dime. Brakes are linear and powerful. At highway speeds there are no vibrations or abnormal wind noise.

All interior electronics and outside lights work normally. Car displays no errors or service due reminders. When hooked up to my BlueDriver Scan Tool, it shows zero confirmed, pending, or permanent engine trouble codes. It also passes the smog readiness check. Finally, (and this is an invaluable thing one should always check when buying a used car) the last time codes were cleared was 9,839 miles ago. Unfortunately, a lot of people suck and will clear codes right before you come and look at their car :/

The only issue I've found is a small amount of oil seepage around the oil drain plug. It's not even enough to drip onto the ground. I only discovered it because I brought along a set of ramps and crawled under the car as part of my PPI. I'm going to try tightening it this evening and wiping the area down. Worst case scenario it's the oil pan gasket and thankfully on a RWD car, the job isn't that massive of a pain. If it turns out to the later, I will have the job done for you as part of the sale.

Cosmetically I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a cleaner N54 E60 M Sport While I was washing it and taking pictures, I actually had a couple of neighbors ask if it was brand-new lol. I understand that this listing might attract attention from distant buyers, and I'm happy to do a video walkthough of the car with anyone interested. Fastest way to get a response from me to call or text, but I will also respond to PM's. You might be wondering where all the pictures are: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Ch731LwKFLvaQF5b7

Quick update. Got back underneath the car this morning and wiped down the oil residue. In the comfort of my own garage, it became evident leak wasn't coming the oil plug.

Went for a 35 mile drive (drove beautifully) and checked again. Pretty clearly the oil pan (everything above it is dry). Have an appointment Wednesday to get the gasket replaced.

It is indeed. I'm open to having the car transported, or you can pick it up in Colorado at the end of the month

Please text or PM me if you'd like to discuss further.

Update, oil pan gasket is being replaced as I write this. It came out looking pretty crunchy.

Mechanic recommended that OFHG and Valve Cover Gasket be replaced too as they're showing early signs of weeping (no oil leaking yet). I have massive OCD when it comes to cars, so I just decided to fork out a massive amount of money to have them done too! Will have car back on Friday.

Whoever buys this car is getting a massively good deal.

You are a saint for spending money on a car you are selling, most people would have said "leaks absolutely no oil" and dumped it on someone else.

That's very kind of you. I actually owned a retail used car dealership for a few years and discovered my compulsion to make sure cars had no known issues before they went to their new owners killed all my profit haha.

Anyway, the way I look at life is that we're only here for a short time and I'd like to leave it a slightly better place then when I entered it.

Car is back! Had everything degreased to make sure there are no minor leaks sprouting up. Here's what the bottom of the car looks like now after taking it on a drive and running it on the rack. Sorry the angles are slightly different, the after photo was easier to take because I was under the mechanic's rack. The before photo was on my back with Rhino Ramps in my garage lol)

Edit: After photo is showing first.
