BMW Caps or VMR Caps with Gunmetal?

I was contemplating with which caps to use with my new gunmetal V710s, but after painting black the grey ring around the BMW caps, I really believe that subtle touch helped a lot.

I'm going to do what I like the best but I was just curious with what you guys liked.

I think the blue conflicts with the red, I would replace the blue with grey or black...

I would get the newer style BMW caps that dump the ugly plastic outer ring in favour of an enlarged roundel and chrome ring. They're quite cheap, about $20 for a set from the dealer.

But it looks like they have rounded the cap.
I like the flat look myself.

What I did was take that cap on the right, remove the outer grey ring, scuff it up and paint it flat black.
It will give the same look as the other one on the left.

Well guys,
I'm a little surprised at the poll, because I thought it would be a little more even.
IMO, the BMW caps are the winner, even with the blue.

I'll have to say though that if I didn't paint the ring around the cap black then it would have been a for sure VMR cap, but it's amazing how much better the caps look if the grey ring is black.

Thanks for the votes and keep them coming if you want.
