New iDrive 8 Features: v7/2022.33 Software Update

Just an update of what I’ve found:

* new map colours
* new startup sound
* new drive modes (expressive and relax)
* new ability to select a startup drive mode (except for sport mode)
* new iconic sounds for all drive modes (except efficient)
* new ambient lighting styles for the new drive modes
* new g-meter option on the driver display
* new sport display on the HUD
* new visualisation style for BMW assistant (two options, harmonious and expressive. She even has a face. It’s super cute)
* ability to map the long press of the mic button to an assistant
* new automation for front panorama view that can be enabled at set locations
* new charger search icon on the map screen (full screen and widget)

I saw in i4 group, that they added charging performance during DC charging. interesting if this made it to iX software

Is this just a ID8 update or will some of these features be carried over to ID7?

Yea..didn't help that it replaced one of the most beautiful BMWs made - that 2002 era 7 series.
