"Chrome" trim looks faded

Any idea how to clean/restore this silver looking trim around the windows? It looks faded and cloudy.

Nothing works. Apparently every car will develop that look soon. Mine looks like that and I thought it was something I did but nope. There's another thread where the OP there has it even worse than us and he took a look at a few G20s at a dealership and those looked the same too. So yeah.

I do not believe there is anything that can be done with that trim. With the shadowline black, it can be polished. For future reference, all trim and the entire car should be properly detailed ie. ceramic/graphene coated to help prevent this exact scenario.

maybe it can be wrapped or taken off and re-coated (plastic electro plated) with something to improve the looks.

Kind of looks like hard water staining. You could try a mix of warm water and vinegar (50/50 ratio) on a small spot to see if it helps.
