Broken down Help

On my way on hol and have car has come up with charging fault . Waiting for AA now . Would it be battery or alternator ? My start /stop hasn't worked since I got the car . Mileage is 137k

best way to check is with multimeter to see if what the battery voltage is without alternator and then with alternator. if you have a good obd scanner that can tell you that as well but obvs not much you can do on the side of the road... unlucky i guess.

maybe check if you aux belt hasn't snapped?
