That's not just for the F22, right?

Release notes on Google play specifically say G42 (cannot speak for iOS) https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...de&hl=en&gl=GB
-- That option was not there yesterday

I have coded the following:
- Disabled ASD
- Enabled B&W surround profiles
- ///M Startup logo
- Disable startup warning

However I do notice a few glitches:

1) Disable Start / Stop does not seem to work. OTOH, when I tried with G20, it worked, but the console indicator would not shut off even after exiting and locking

2) I cannot find option to change Default Driving Mode in Body Domain Controller (or elsewhere). This behaved same as #1 with G20, so seems maybe they disabled these for the time being to get the rest of the release out?

3) Cannot get Advanced Crash Safety Module to load to disable seatbelt chimes. It just comes up as empty list of options. I saw this same issue when selecting G20. Not sure if my car/ECU or just the way BimmerCode for G42 is right now.

Would still like to:
- Get ASS working
- Get Default Driving Mode working
- Disable seatbelt chimes
- Add Sporty ASD setting (maybe)

Does Bimmercode allow you to deactivate/activate EPB as well as ABS brake bleed procedure? Need to service brakes for track use.

No clue on either. I only started with BimmerCode yesterday . Hopefully some veterans can chime in

I was able to code this whilst using the G20 profile Di you have the supported OBD Link connector? I will check the latest update but the website still says F2013+ no G42 support still

Yes, I have a brand new ODBLink CX.

I tried coding ASS and Default drive mode yesterday with G20 (before the new release) and while it disabled ASS, and used Sport Individual as my default driving mode, the ASS console indicator remained illuminated, even after exiting and locking the car. So it seems maybe the G42 implementation is erring on the side of caution and not fully supporting yet.

Agree the Bimmercode website and the "supported cars" menu in the app do not show G42 support.

But the Google Play release notes for 4.9.0-10491 (8/29/2022) clearly state -

What's new
New: Support for i4 (G26).
New: Support for 2 Series Coupe (G42).
New: Coding of the alarm system (CANS2 and CANS3) for convertibles of the F and G Series without “Roof Function Center“.

And then when you go into the updated BimmerCode app, there is a new radiobutton to choose 2 Series Coupe. So I am confident this is for the G42 (22+) 2 Series coupe and not the prior gen.

Could just be a delay in bimmercodes site update. When a new app is published to the app store, you have to provide change notes, so hopefully more details will be coming soon to bimmercodes site

the re-coding of the decoding of the no-dazzle headlights (lol) will be probably the only thing I want.

This one might be too advanced for bimmercode for now. E-sys is the way to go as far as I have figured out. Want to do that as well when mine finally arrives.

No iOS support as of yet - but I’m sure it will be coming shortly. Great news!

On my '22 M4 the light stays on as well and that is a factory setting (not coded).

I am a new user, but does this thread mean at some point we may have the ability to change instrument cluster area........ to have analog looking digital gauges displayed on screen through the bimmercode app? Would soften the blow of the awful billboard attached to the dash. Love the look of analog gauges. Love love my car on order and would not cancel the order due to the billboard. I will get used to it. Performance and style of this coupe outweighed everything.

It is awesome. Since it’s now dark out when I leave for work in the morning, I’ve been able to see it in action a lot more. It is cool seeing it toggle areas of light on and off based on other vehicles in traffic.

What’s the deal with anti dazzle coding? Isn’t this just standard in the adaptive headlights?

In the US we only have auto high beams. Adaptive headlights are not enabled by default.
