I say since there stage 1 on the e46 makes 400whp and there stage 2 makes 450 that this will be 450 for st1 and 500 for st2.
max boost around 8psi for stage 2 edit... omg 600whp on pump gas @8psi(ess kit) Last edited by grkm3; 12-23-2008 at 01:24 PM.. |

BOV's sound so.......F/I Honda Civic like.
Let the beautiful sound of that wonderful V8 with the small supercharger whine shine through, not the pathetically ricer like BOV. |

guys you can do away with the bov,its not a deal breaker.I think I can speak for most potential buyers that if you had a F/I M3 that you would want the whole world to know wuts under your hood.
I would def rock that bof setup. |

If you think about it in the long run, you get new M3 with warranty and slap this new overpriced AA kit and your warranty is gone. Who knows how much have to pay for maitenance on a car like that, it's going to be more than the e46 M3. What I would do is find a e46 M3, a used one of course, in pretty good shape. Slap a HPF kit on it and make 700+ hp and eat anyone alive. Thats more of an investmant.

So go ahead and buy a used out dated m3 and spend 20k on a kit and then 5 k on labor and then come back and tell us your maintenace costs on a 700whp M3. Dont forget to tow your car to a HPF authorised installer to get the kit installed, that sounds like a way better investment to me lol |

You and I both know, the product is overpriced, Period. The power gains are not worth it compared to other(s) products.

bro the AA kit is like 1/2 the price. The hpf kit includes an engine build up.That is like 5k in labor right there.
12k for 600whp is not that bad, even if it is 12k,there e46 kit is like 10k. A 700whp e46 m3 will cost you 30k for the kit anyway you slice it.I am not talking about cost of cars ect...if you want cheap power go buy an evo. what your saying is like instead of me buying a new nice 335 I could go find a cheap e36 m3 for like 7k and turbo the heck out of it and smoke even your hpf m3.But guess what its still an outdated old car that no one cares about anymore. Why would I drop 20k into it to make it 600whp? the point is people can rock a 600whp e9x m3 for under 15k. so 30k for a clean e46 m3 plus 30k for a turbo kit(I dont know how you think this is a better investment)or 60k for a new m3 and 12k for a kit installed. gee if I had the money I wonder wich one I would rock. Also dont forget that your not going to get much back on selling a older m3 even if you had the turbo kit installed.the S/C e90 would actually have a buyers market for the next few years. So you could have some fun and sell the car a few years later and get back some of you money. |
