Can't open a new operation in ISTA+
I've been using Rheingold for years to diagnose and repair my 2011 335d. This week I popped a CEL and tried to open a new order in Operations (Operations>New>VIN) to translate the OBD2 code to BMW and research a fix.
When I manually input the VIN and click "Accept," the screen flashes momentarily (too quick to read, but something like "Ongoing background process - it will take a moment") but then pops back to the Operations>New>VIN>Input VIN: screen. I get the same result when I try to connect to the car to interrogate the system for errors (Operations>New>Read Out Vehicle Data>Complete Identification). No ongoing operations are open or listed in Operations>Active>Operations List. I have Rheingold System 4.09.33.21392, Data R4.09.33, Service Data 4.09.30, Global Data 4.09.30, and Language Data 4.09.30 dated 24.09.2022. Remaining databases through ISTA DB XmlValuePrimitive RU are 4.09.30 dated 16.01.2018. Could a bad data update in Rheingold be causing this issue? Anybody know how to fix it? Thanks. |
