Gray Leather Stain???
 Stupid birds!!!
Anyway I got hit today and I had the back window down. To keep this short, some rather large bird s@#t got on my gray leather. I don't even want to talk about the side of my car. I'm at work and I got it off with a paper towel and water as soon as I could, but it left a yellow stain. What should I use to get the stain out? Please help. ![]() |

I would look for a good quality leather cleaner. You might want to check with an upholstery shop or a shoe repair shop. I don't know if Zaino would work (Z-9 and Z-10).
I just thought of another question; does BMW or someone else sell leather dye that matches the interior colors? On my old BMW, the leather was very black and I could use black shoe polish for the areas on the driver’s seats that get worn from getting in and out of the car. |

Thanks for your help and reply.
On your leather question, you should be able to use any leather shoe dye. I would go for grey and apply in coats. But please do a test first... Such as some old shoes etc... Here's what you do... Apply, let dry, polish and you should be good to go. I just ordered my first batch of Zaino products including Z-9 and Z-10. But its not here yet. I also called the dealership and they said to bring it by and their detailers might be able to get it out. Now to deal with the bird s@#t scratch!!! Arrrrggg... Stupid bird  |

Good luck, hope they can get the stain out.
Sounds like it's time to use the A/C instead of open windows. Keep a shot gun handy just is case the bird returns. Last edited by 330eye; 05-11-2006 at 10:33 AM.. |
