New official M2 peek vs unofficial leaks comparison

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
The new official leak / peek from the Nurburgring definitely looks better, but I can't articulate why. While it does look to be better sculpted, I can't really discern any differences when comparing this new one with the ones that hit 2 weekends back. Perhaps you guys have a better eye than myself.

It looks like the new one (referencing photo 2) has a flat, sculpted lip around the intake, where the old one doesn't and just looks rounded.

Easy, the other pic in your comparison looks like it was taken from a distance and then zoomed which means lower resolution. The lighting in that pic is also directly overhead and super bright which washes out the cars details.

Look how white the hood is here from the bright overhead lights and how the wheels are in shadow.

The newer partial pic is in more normal lighting levels and taken up close.

It looks better because you can better see that it’s a huge sculpted intake instead of a flat square cutout.

I expect a lot of backtracking when the car is properly revealed.

Highly doubt it's BG, they will want to show it in its official launch color ZB.

Can't wait for the reveal in all honesty, hopefully it is a bit better but nothing is really going to save that rear end

All that matters is the rear...the rest of the car was fine to me. I'm willing to go with function-over-form when it comes to this car....but that rear bumper that was circulating around was going way to far. I hope its fixed.

It’s still far from a conventional, pretty design.

Definately not a car I’d order without seeing properly first, there’s potential there, it’s just some curves would have been nice lol

If you mean the color, could just be the lighting and camera quality. I'm still disappointed.

Maybe it will look better with a color matched lip?

Always felt color matched lips on F80 made the front end to bulky since the bumper has great lower front end but with this front center gap it could tie it together.
