Meth Injection w/ MHD?

Late E-series N55 here, FBO with PS2 and currently tuned for E30 by Wedge. The nearest E85 station is a 1.5 hour round trip, so I also fill up two 5 gallon jugs while there to save me 2 trips (5 gallons E85 and the rest 91 is around E35, 14 gallon tank). I have to wait for the tank to be pretty much empty to make this mixture work out. Its certainly not convenient and I'm hesitant to do any long trips where there may not be any E85.

I'm considering going back to 91 only tune and adding in meth/water injection. I was wondering if there have been advancements in methanol injection when running a flash tune only. Has this been made safe? Can the DME pull timing or boost if the methanol injection fails? Is the HFS-4 still the go-to kit?

I would likely run 2 nozzles in the charge pipe, 50/50 mix of methanol and water.

I have a similar setup to you and also using Wedge tune. Running around 21lbs of boost and meth kit. Runs great and you have added benefit of meth keeping temps low. I've logged about 40k on this platform and I would recommend it to you. Maybe one thing I have you don't is a Fuel-it stage 2 pump to keep fuel blasting though engine. Its all good!

Yeah I have a fuel-it stage 2 LPFP and the spool FX-150 HPFP just to keep up with the E30 tune.

What meth kit are you using? What failsafes are there if the system fails?
