Hey all! I have had this P0492 insufficient flow bank 2 code for at least a year and lately I've been trying to fix it.

So far I have tried a new secondary air pump, new secondary air valve, and cleaned the exhaust opening where the valve is bolted on to (forgive my poor mechanical term usage!) with b12 chemtool as some have said worked to clear buildup. It certainly cleared out some blockage but the code came back after clearing it a few days later. From my understanding bank two is for the further cylinders 4-6. I've heard talk about clogged cats?

The weirdest part about this is the noise; there's a strange noise coming from the secondary air system while driving that is speed dependent almost. It sounds maybe like an air leak, or others have said a little turbine winding up. It isn't loud, however certainly noticeable. What do you guys suggest next? Let me know if you need any other further photos or explanations, thank you all so much!

P.S. car is at 151,000 miles and I learned about the SULEV warranty just the other day… whoops!
