Great day at Legends of the Autobahn East in the Port Royal Golf Club on Hilton Head Island!
For background, Legends Of The Autobahn East is the all German Concours held in partnership with the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival's Car Club Showcase organized by BMW Car Club of America, Audi Club North America, and Mercedes-Benz Club of America. Very cool to see Ray Korman and the Korman Autoworks IMSA Endurance Series BMW 325e at the event too!
The Korman Autoworks BMW 325e was the most successful car in the entire 1986 Firehawk Endurance Series, scoring more points than any of the more than 150 cars that competed in Grand Sports, Sports, and Touring Classes. Covering 6,100 miles in the 1986 season the Korman 325e entry had no mechanical failures at with drivers Ray Korman, Ron Christensen and John Andretti. |
