The guage is a bit slow, had this on all my E9X's and even my 135i. When i check using a reader it gets close to opt. temp after a few minutes.

first, how did u see the temp on a 328?? second, its cold out obviously makes it harder to warm up faster...

interesting. i thought it's only for 335s? anyways...the outside temp makes it harder to warm up. usually it takes me about 15-20 minutes to get the oil temp to start moving...and about 30 minutes+ to get it to 240F. with traffic, it gets a lot easier.

Dude how do you have a oil temp guage under your RPM's if you have a 328i? You should have MPG (Miles Per Gallon) guage that shows how much fuel economy you're getting.

Only the 335 has the oil temp guage. Please confirm with a pic maybe this is a change on the '09's...

Post at 11:40PM on NYE? Wow you really are dedicated to this forum...

I just did a search on this and came up with the fact that e92's get the oil temp by default. E90 only gets it for the 335.

Happy New Year.
