ecu tune for m5?

M5 forum isnt visited much it seems. I drive 2009 335i but friend with 2006 m5 is asking if there are ecu tunes for his car ...

I am sure there is, but if I am not misteken being that his car is "normally aspirated" there really would not be much of a gain in performance. Anyone else feel free to chime in

Dinan flash gets you 15hp-15ft/lb, improves throttle response, raises the rev limiter, and takes off the top speed governer. 1k plus tax and install

Dinan makes a stroker for the M5 that'll get you 600+hp, but it costs like $30K or something... and I saw a youtube video of an HPF Turbo M3 absolutely destroy it..

Why do American v8's respond more to bolt-ons than German v8's? Look at how much power those LS engines are making compared to the m3's v8. Is it an issue with displacement?
