Body shop - Cleveland
I'm piggy backing off of this thread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196855 In the spring, I'm going to be picking up some form of the aero kit - probably the front aero and Mtech rear. Where in Cleveland can I take these parts to get painted and installed? Also, where in Cleveland is a good place to get normal work done? I want to drop it this summer too, but don't know where to go. ![]() SOGGY MUFFIN! |

Terry's North Coast Auto Body near 33rd and St. Clair. They have always had the best price in town and excellent service. My two friends have done some extensive body work with them with no problems, and they did an excellent job on my leased Jetta right before I turned it in.

I used Koala Motorsport in Novelty to lower my car, amongst other things, and I like their service. They aren't a body shop, so they can't paint anything.
http://www.koalamotorsport.com/ Bear in mind that I live 25 minutes west of Cleveland, so for me to drive out there should provide an indication of how much I recommend them. |

I don't drive the car during the winter if I can help it. Last year I drove it in the winter, but due to the drop, I wound up replacing the engine under-tray due to ice damaging and breaking it apart. That bill came to $500.
For this year, I purchased a 1987 325is for winter duty. Not only does it sit higher, but it has narrower tires and less HP to make driving more predictable in the white. Depending on length of time the car is in KMS' hands, I either wait or schedule a date where they will have a loaner available. I've used their Chevy Tahoe once and their E36 automatic one other time. For the drop, I just waited 3 hours and accomplished the college homework in the waiting area. |
