Dynavin (or Similar) System Pre-N8 for E9X
I'm looking for a Dynavin unit, open to D95/D99/N6/N7 and maybe others I am not aware of. I am trying to gain functionality while retaining an OEM+ look so I suppose I could be open to other vendors but I'm not sure anyone keeps the stock look as well as Dynavin does. Thanks in advance. |

Not sure if you're still looking as it's a few month old, but I have a Dynavin N6 unit for sale. Fits flush and doesn't have the protruding bottom or overhang. It is the older N6 version though.

Thanks for the replies, guys -- I ended up going with an Xtrons unit that I found with proper buttons and knobs. Pretty similar to the N7 unit, and I'm happy enough with my second pick.

Just curious, haven't kept up to date with the aftermarket chinese units, but does this proper xtrons have the notorious overhang on the bottom of the unit? I don't understand why they haven't fixed that...or have they?

They do, but its honestly not really noticeable -- when I run out of more important things to do I do plan on getting there and slicing up the bracket area to get the fit a bit more flush, but no one I've pointed it out to noticed it before I did, and I almost have to look for it. Its much more noticeable at the angles pictures get taken from, not your eyes. The rest of the unit is very satisfactory, though, and has wireless android auto which isn't advertised with it but super nice to have.

oh ok. Yeah it's not that noticeable, but it's definitely noticeable. The flushness can be adjusted and fixed, but the unit being too long and going past the bottom of the console paneling really bothers me. I used to have one a long time ago and hated it, then bought another one thinking that it wouldn't bother me, but it still did. Glad you're all set though.

Actually I just googled the N6 again, it is almost exactly what mine looks like, minus the integrated HVAC panel, which REALLY makes a difference, as you know. What would you be looking for for it? How modern is the interface, and what did you replace it with?
