Exclamation The Hybrid, All-Wheel Drive 2023 Corvette E-Ray Leaked Online Overnight

Well alrighty then... Shit it even looks yummy in all camouflage wrap!

https://jalopnik.com/2023-chevy-corv...ine-1849873884

Chevy's online configurator site for the E-Ray was discovered by Corvette fans, who got screenshots and details before the site was taken down.
Last night some keen-eyed Corvette fans on corvetteforum.com, midenginecorvetteforum.com and other sites noticed that a visualizer for the upcoming 2024 Corvette E-Ray hybrid had inadvertently gone live on the Chevy website. The visualizer allowed users to play around with new color combos and options for the hybrid, all-wheel drive C8 variant that will be the most revolutionary ‘Vette ever. The visualizer has since been taken down, but the E-Ray lives on in screenshots posted online.

Not sure why, but I was expecting it to be PHEV. Don’t see a charge port.

When they first announced this car - I was so into it. Got on a list for a C8Z06 in 2020.

It's still a performance monster, no question about it but over the last two years it slowly became really aesthetically unappealing to me. There's something really off about it in person. I thought the wide body on the Z06 would improve the overall "skinny" appearance of the stingray but no... Even the sound comes off as artificial Ferrari. I may get one down the road but as of right now, no longer interested in getting it.

I'd rather get into a C7 again. It's a far better looking car from the outside to me and it sounds like a Corvette - flat plane high rev v8s are orgasmic sounding but this one just sounds odd.

Well this is the E-ray, it doesn't come with a flat-plane V8.

I HATED my c7 z06 over my old c6 z06. I could never get more than 3 laps in it without the POS overheating.

Combined with the seemingly worse build quality, I only had it for a few months before I dumped it. I had high hopes on it being a great track beater, but alas, it was not. Best thing on it was the brakes, those were wonderful

I had a 2019 so it had all the updates - it still ran at 300F oil but it never went limp. Definitely the hottest track car I ever had but was a rocket.

The C8 is just a modern Consulier. Fast and capable but so ugly no one can really claim they like it. I mean, except for one guy.
