I just my car back from the dealer. They were suppose to update the software so I can play MP3 cd's on my non CD changer with nav 06 330i. According to the dealer it did play an mp3 cd. So they didn't update the software. I asked what the tech used as far as the type of cd and what program that was used to make it but he left for the day. I was surprised on how much the people in the service department didn't know about the mp3 cd dilemma. So once again I am left in the dark. They pretty much told me I'm "SOL" with the whole mp3 cd issue. I have heard mp3 cd's can only be played with a CD changer if I have the nav system. So does anyone know the formula for this problem? Do I need a special type of pc program to burn an mp3 cd...also what brand of cd works for others. I was even let down with the disabling of the DRL's. They told me they cannot turn them off and there are no settings for them in my car. Sometimes I wonder if I purchased a good car. I mean it's fast and beautiful car but when I cannot get any resolve for these problems it makes me wonder if I did make a good choice on the 2006 330i
