Who is into the markets?

Ive been watching the markets everyday they are open and have made some pretty good coin so far. I bought in as soon as everything took a shit and pretty much hit rock bottom. Just today alone im up another $2100.

i know a lot of guys lost tons of money when the market crashed, but
who else is making money as the markets slowly recover?

I've been making money on short-term trades (i.e. nothing too much longer than a week or two) just based on technical trading, but it was tricky for a while when the market wasn't moving based upon trends.

I was up about 55% on the year in my brokerage account (IRA, not so much... ) until one of the companies I bought had a class action lawsuit filed against it. I was originally up 28% on that stock, and now it's taken a bite out of my gains

There's money to be made, but this economy isn't in the clear just yet.

lol, after the first trading day of the year, it's finally good to see a positive YTD on my 401k!

I am thinking about getting into some trading. Which online trading sites would you guys recommend?

any bank you are with is fine. i use BMO just because i have all my money with them and its easy to transfer to my trading account.

the only way to make money right now is to play the swings. the market is like a bungee cord.

Buy Precious Medals. Stocks 50% down in 2008. Plus Medals feels good when slept on.

For regular trading this is a good platform. I like brokersXpress for option trading as well. Just getting into options so still learning!
