E91 320d engine cutting out

Hi all, i've got an issue with my engine cutting out. Pull up to the lights and it dies, it will restart but turns over for a while before it does. Seems to only start doing it on a run, on the motorway the other day I had cruise control on and although it kept at the selected speed i could fell it trying to die, left the motorway slowed down to stop, cut out. Scanned it - p1427 and p3000 returned - mechanic friend thinks the swirl flaps might have been removed hence the first code the second seems to relate to a fuel rail sensor. Cleared the codes and went for a short drive today no codes returned as yet . . .

the car is an E91 2006 320d Msport any thoughts?

Update: issue returned, idle "hunting" go to pull away engine dies.

scanned, P1427 and P3000 again. Not sure when it was changed last so i've ordered a fuel filter as a first step. Is it worth replacing the sensor at this point?
Any other guidance gratefully received

Monitoring deviation test, rail pressure sensor. The fault is detected if the non-linearised value of the rail pressure (voltage) upon engine start or during after-run of the control unit exceeds the limit value (excessive positive offset).

Engine start limit value: 648 mV

After-run limit value: 648 mV

Condition for fault identification: Monitoring takes place continuously if no electrical faults are set.

Control unit voltage: 9.5 V to 16 V.
Condition for fault memory entry At start: 30 ms

During control unit after-run: 100 ms

Action in service
1. Check line and plug connections

- Check connections for corrosion!

- Check connectors for correct locking!

2. Carry out function check.

If checks mentioned above are OK: Replace rail pressure sensor.
