AWD vs RWD (XI vs I)
Okay, I did a search and couldn't find anything to my liking, but I feel like this might of been posted before. Also, if it is in the wrong thread or inappropriate please delete it.
Well, here's the question. Pros and Cons of AWD vs RWD. Thanks, wes |

RWD is faster on roll. AWD is quicker on from dead stop.
RWD handles better and more nimble. AWD rides higher and feels like more body roll. RWD is more fun overall. AWD is only fun in snow and rain. AWD is better if you need to drive often in snow. RWD is better if you dont care bout snow. RWD isnt that bad with snowtires in snow either. AWD isnt that bad in ride height and body roll after a 2~3k$ coilovers. With a tune i think AWD is fun since you bombs away 0- whatver you want to drive it at. RWD is fun since you can burnout peel out and donuts drift all those fun stuff to do on a $50k car. LOL.. Oh bTW |

AWD gives alittle more grip in the corners and comes off the line a little faster thanks to the added traction. i drove a RWD 4runner and it sucked in any weather so i'd assume that any RWD is the same... i'm a new driver though so i'm not too sure about the feel of AWD drive yet
