N54 335XI -08 Ticking noise

Hi, recently purchased a 335XI and it’s made this ticking noise since I purchased it. It’s pretty annoying as you can hear it inside the car whilst driving and it’s worrying me quite a lot. The car runs perfectly while WOT and is tuned to stage 1+ MHD OTS, though there is some stuttering while idling. The car supposedly has Index 12 injectors.
Here’s a clip from just now.

Thanks!

The ticking noise is the HPFP iirc, some purge valve I think. It's normal.

Sounds pretty normal. The injectors have a tick and then add in valve train noise and it sounds pretty loud.

Rod knock would be more apparent and much louder.
You can pull the oil filter to confirm there are no metal shavings in it.

I’ve found engine flush treatments before oil changes have quited down the valve train.

I see thanks guys, does anybody know if changing your oil viscosity might help with injector noise?

No it won't change injector noise, it may reduce valve train /lifter tick noise though.

I think most of that ticking us your valve train, and is normal.

Was your idle surging or was someone modulating the throttle?

My car ticks like crazy, and my valve train looks so clean you could eat off it.

This car has notoriously noisy valves.

Some people claim liquimoly treatments help quiet them down. Didn't seem to for me.
