Confused about service intervals

Alright when I bought the car they tell me bring your car in every 15k miles for service..computer counts down and I would take it in. Last month the dealer is calling me saying I need a scope..Great I took it in a month ago and had that done. Today they called and said I need a microfilter. What does the car send signals when it feels like it wants something? I'd really rather not run to the dealer every month for something little like this.. She knew exactly what mileage I have on the car..which kind of freaks me out. Seems like there is no more service interval?

Ok i called my dealer..they said you still have the 15k intervals but if the car needs something in the meantime it will tell you. I can live with that. I still don't like how it sends data to the dealer..what else are they watching.
