Waited 35 minutes to get help in service Today
I waited until after lunch to go to BMW Autohaus on Steeles in Toronto today.
I arrive there with the following things wrong: 1. The parking brake light lit up (in yellow) 2. Yellow triangle with counter clockwise arrow lit up 3. Low battery who the fuck knows. I arrived at the service entrance at around 2:10, and they had one service guy accepting people, and around 6 or 7 other guys shuffling around the back area where the offices are. There was another gentleman who arrived just before me. I waited, no exageration, 35 minutes before someone helped me. And during my time there, noone even acknowledged my presence. The gentleman who helped me admit my car to the hospital, told me to say soemthing to Dominic. I said to Dominic, that nooone even acknowledged my presence for over 30 minutes, but once the guy who helped me did help me, i was impressed with him (the service guy, not dominic) Just not the way i was (not) helped when I got there. Dominic didn't seem to give a rat's ass whether I was helped or not, which I don't get, as the service department is really where they make their dollars, no? I did get a rental buick that barely fits in my driveway. I look at this experience with my buick as a reminder why the american auto industry is in a shambles. Funny thing is i keep getting out of the buick with the key in the ignition, as I have comfort access, then I go, "oh ya, gotta take the key out of the ignition"
