paintless dent rec's for east bay area ??

got a small dent (I think from a rock thrown from an oncoming car) on the driver's side (damn!!) above the rear wheel... high up on the quarter panel....

can't get to it from inside the trunk, it's right behind a big square hunk of metal above the shocks (an e92) ... probably have to go through the wheel well...

Haven't looked into taking the rear wheel well liner out myself yet... maybe not too bad, maybe I can get to it myself back there without needing to drill holes and have special sticks for pushing on things....

either way... looking for recommendations for GOOD paintless dent removal people in the area... (walnut creek, berkeley, dublin, concord... etc.etc..)

thanks,

jason

oh come on .. where's the excitement in that ???

So... for what it's worth... i'll report my experience here...

I did get the wheel off...found a hole under there... . let a friend who claims to have had some decent success with that sorta thing in the past take a crack at it through that hole (still amateur hour here though) .... and while he did get the dent mostly sorta out... it ended up leaving a larger and shallower dent right next to it somehow.... so...... like you said... let a pro handle it ;-)

I searched around on google, found a local guy.....

He works for himself.. but happens to be at Weatherford BMW quite often (probably does work for them??)

I emailed him a description... he called me right back... next thing i knew i was meeting him at weatherford in an hour.... took him about 45 minutes and it's perfect again... good as new except for the tiny tiny scratch in the paint the rock left)... prices were in line with other dent people i'd heard ads for etc...

professional, fast, friendly, quality work...

so for anyone else around here.... he's worth at least checking out...
