installing I-pod kit in 335I E92

Hello there ,, actually I'm looking to install my I-pod kit which I bought for my E60 M5 and I didn't install it ...

I've done some search in the forums and all guides says that it has to be in front under the glove box ... while in my car the CD changer is in the back on the left ...

for my M5 , the process is to remove the cd changer and hook up the interface to the same cable and it's done ..

is it the same thing for my case in the 335 or not .. my car is fited with logic 7 and sat nav .. the 6 cd changer is in the trunk on the left ..

thanks for your advice in advance ..

From what I have read in this forum, you cannot have the CD changer and the Ipod kit at the same time, it is either one or another.

ok .. well I've done it myself ,, I found out that most of you guys has no CD changer in the trunk ,, that's why you r installing the I-pod kit at the front under the glove box ,, in my case ,, while my car has CD changer and it's MP3 enabled ( I can play MP3 CD's in the dash player ) ,all I did is disconnect the CD changer and connect the cable to the I-pod kit .. and it's up and running without any problem .. stealer asked about 200 US $ for the retofit as they said it has to do reprogramming for the whole car .. which is not true ..
