exhaust/turbo
I have a 2013 e92 335i and I already have a catless dp but I want more turbo spool/noise so should I go with a resonator delete or muffler delete?
~any info would be greatly appreciated |

Changing the intake will give you the turbo noises you're looking for.
If you want louder exhaust sound, I would first suggest doing the MPE mod to your stock exhaust: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=977077 This together with a catless dp will sound very good.. and loud. |

Agree with above. Spool noise tends to increase in cabin when you switch out the intake to DCIs
If you haven’t already, you can disable the flap in your exhaust to keep both pipes open at all times Removing your resonator will make your car grossly raspy. Some people like this sound though so up to you. But then, on an e92, you shouldn’t have resonators to begin with unless you added them in aftermarket. If you haven’t modified the exhaust from after the DPs , your car should have a secondary set of cats in front of the x-pipe. Most people either delete them outright, or replace them with resonators. The latter helps control the rasp while still making the car louder Lastly, the PE mod mentioned above will make it deeper or “growlier” for lack of a better term. |
