325 xi (e92) year 2006

Hello fellow BMW owners!
I have some VANOS related issues with my N52 engine bmw 325 xi.

The car seems to run good for me but I have just recently purchased it and a friend told me that it should be faster than what it is.

The problem is that when the engine gets warm at around 90-105 degrees celsius, the car starts having a rough idle when at stop and sometimes the engine shuts off due to the RPM going down.
Only when the engine dies, the car was initially giving me a P0015 code, but I have recently cleaned both solenoids and replaced the exhaust camshaft position sensor and the problem still occurs, but now I am getting P1553 error code on the OBD II diagnostics.
The car starts back up and check engine light disappeares.

The issue appears to happen only when the engine is warm as there are no issues at all when the engine is cold which leads me to believe that something electrical is not working well because of the heat, probably a sensor.

I am thinking to purchase brand new solenoids and also replace the intake camshaft sensor with a new one too.

What do you guys think and has anyone had this problem before?

First, Clean them and there are screen associated with them. No sense spending $$ for new parts when you don't need them.. using the search function helps a lot too

Unfortunately I have already done my best at cleaning the solenoids.
I used car brake fluid and the battery method to get them to open and close while spraying.
They seemed to work fine but I have read on the forums that sometimes you just need to replace them.

Also, I can assure you that I have read a lot of articles, if not all of them on this issue.

I want to point out again that my issues are happening only when my engine gets warm!

The code indicates intake banks from what I see on google.
I’d change that one out first.
