Hyundai Australia screws their dealers on EVs?

so it seems Hyundai australia have a dealer network, but they are not allowed to sell EVs.

you have to buy them directly from Hyundai Australia ...

makes sense if you have a product that you can't supply creating high demand

at least they don't make buyers bid on them ...
