Adding wheel spacers to an 08' 335xi sedan

I recently swapped out my 07' 335i cp for an 08' 335xi sedan. (needed something better in the snow) I LOVE the sedan but I kinda miss the wider rear track of the coupe. On the sedan I have the sport package with the 17" run flats on all four corners. I noticed on the rear that if the wheels were brought out about 1/4" more they would line up perfectly with the wheel wells and give it a wider look.

How would I go about doing this? Would this cause any unusual stress on the drive train? Would this effect my warranty in any way?

Anyone have any links to something that may work for my car?

Thanks!

I hate to bump my own posts, but come on, NO ONE has any thoughts on this? I have found a few sites that sell them but I am curious about any possible damage to the car and sizes that would work best for me.

Thanks

I run spacers all the time. Just put 15mm spacers on the rear and youll be good to go. Get Rogue engineering spacers. Ive been using spacers for almost 3 years. no warranty issues at all. get the right sized lugs...also Rogue engineering site now sells black bolts so they match.

I just heard the other day from my tire shop that spacers can ruin your suspension. It causes undo stress on the bolts and other components. Can anyone shed light on this? A little concerned with an XI system. Fotios, were you running spacers on your E90?

If they are hub-centric and of high quality, and you use the proper lug bolts, there shouldn't be a prob.

H&R seem to be the forum favorite. Turner Autosport has good prices, and they have the longer lug bolts as well.

For around $500 a side, you can buy the E90LCI hubs and carriers, realizing the wider rear track of the 2009+ sedans.
