Lightbulb Winter setup R16 alloy fitment help

Hello everyone,

Can someone help me with info/ photo for the best fitment for R16 wheels on E91 LCI?

Yes...you read it right. I want my car to look nice on R16...aggressive if this is possible on R16.

I want to buy some R16 rims for my winter setup (205/55/R16), problem is that I can't find pictures/ setup guides for R16 since everyone on E9x is using R17 and up.

Basically I want the best ET/J/ spacer combo for R16 205/55/R16 alloys.

Currently I have style 268 for winter ET31...but they look bad on the rear...ET is too big I think.

PS: I was thinking to get some style 360, paint them gun metal, but only with spacer combo at least for the rear.

I've got a set of style 134's on my car currently, 7x16et 20, and they look pretty decent.

One of the things about running an OEM 16 is that they're so narrow, so even though they're fairly pushed out, it looks a little strange from the rear with narrow ass tires so far to the edges of the car.

I was thinking the same. Another option would be some style 236 from F10, they are pretty cheap in Romania. But I think the ride quality is not so good on 17", or am I wrong?

For style 268 what spacer dimension should I use? 12mm front and 18mm back?

I was trying to find a set of 236's, didn't have any luck around me. I just got a set of style 327's, going to try them out.

As far as 16 to 17's, the ride quality difference is not dramatic. I've owned several other E9x cars and this is the first one with 16's. I get an extra mpg or two on the highway with the 16's though.
