Clutch issue info please.
clutch started slipping so i took it to the dealer and i had a new clutch in 2 days. The clutch was really light when i first got in it but then it got heavier as i drove home but another thing i noticed is when i push my clutch all the way in i feel something moving. possibly since its a new clutch? Fluids? i dont know, i just never felt it before on my old clutch has anybody else experienced this?

I believe the first clutch replacement is a "goodwill" replacement. I'm on my second clutch.

curious... how many miles etc... on all you guys with clutch issues ???
i'm at 20K with no problems yet... i did take out the CDV when it was brand new, so maybe that helps ? ... still will break the wheels loose shifting into third if i want... i don't track the car, or run at the strip or anything... seems like the stock clutch should do ok even with the extra power... or maybe not ? |

went to the dealer today and no surprise they said its normal. i just could never feel my engine through my old clutch as much as this one. Also it wasnt as bad as when i was driving over there so they couldnt feel it that much. Sorry to hear about the 3 clutches and trans but you got a deal so at least you got something out of it.

I know this is thread is old. I just got my clutch replaced at 22,000 miles last week. They replaced it with RMFD clutch. Problem is that with less than 100 miles ont this clutch and it is already slipping.
That should still be a warranty replacement I hope since it has only been about 90 miles on it and I couldnt fry a clutch that quickly on my own.
