In the middle of doing my oil pan job and found two lovely oil pump bolts. One mounting bolt and one head sheared off another. A little bit of level sensor plastic and a mystery piece.

It’s a tomorrow thing now

EDIT: 1 oil pump bolt, 1 possible head bolt head

You might have some broken cylinder head bolts under the valve cover. I may have the same issue as the external bolt head under the intake manifold was broken on my engine.

If you look in the photo there are two missing bolt heads, one is the mounting bolt location and a head of a bolt holding pump together. Got them on order from bmw for tuesday

You might be right on the head bolt, thought one was a face of the oil pump but its a different head. engine seems to have no problems with that right now so when I do the valve cover again ill check it out
