360 forged OR Iforged????
Im torn!!!
Im looking at getting new wheels. I found a set of used iforged with almost new tires for an awsome price OR I can get a new set of 360 forged wheels for about $500 (cdn) more without tires. The iforged are pretty much new, with higher end tires then id get on the 360s. My question is, what would you do? As far as styling goes, I like them both. They would be the iforged classics or the 360 mb 5ives. Both are similar wheels and both are very hot! Id be going staggered 20s if that matters in your choice.... Just looking for everyones opinions here... |

I would have to say play it safe and go with the 360's
j/k .. in the end you honestly have to go with whatever wheels suit you best. Take into account if you are looking for both style AND performance. You may also want to have the ability to choose exactly which wheel you want as opposed to a used set... just my .02 Good Luck! |

i liek 360s a lot!!! dont get me wrong, just curious why thats the hands down winner? i will likely either go with this used set of iforged i found (theyre nice)... OR i am potentially going to be sponsored by 360. They have a new wheel line coming out, one of my buddies is sponsored by them and is seeign what they can do for me.. |

Well take it from me, I ordered some Iforged Daytona's. I love them to death, but the company is completely worthless. I wrecked one of my back rims and had to order another, it took over half a year to get a replacement. I sure did get a rim but the wrong one. The offset was completely different from the others. I took some time but once I sent that one back, with one of my original rims for them to compare. They couldn't see how they would make that mistake. It took them about 3 months to get me out the replacement for the replacement. While doing this they also took it upon them self's to do work to my original rim with out anyone's consent. Then turn around and wanted me to pay them for something I never asked for.... I finally got them to give me back my rim. They wanted to keep it!?!?! Well I get the replacement rim and its the right offset this time. But when I started to look closer the inner piece spokes are 1 inch thick. The replacement rim spokes are 3/4 of an inch thick. When I told them this they told me that the reason it was thinner. Was due to their new forging process and it would be ok to use the rim. So now I have 3 rims that match in thickness and one that does not. I will swear on my life I will never buy anything from Iforged AGAIN so long as I live. This is your warning.... don't make the same mistake I did. Go 360 if anything. P.S. Dan at the Modcity is a great vendor, would buy from again.

I had issues with my iForged wheels (not on a BMW). The clearcoat peeled off after a very short period of time. It was a "known issue" at the time, but it was a big PITA to take care of. I finally got the wheels back after about 6 months and a lot of phone calls to iForged, and I immediately sold them....
I should add, I bought my wheels direct from iForged. If you go the iForged route, go through a good vendor. That way if there are issues, they are more likely to be resolved quickly. I have heard they are past their quality issues, and everything I have heard backs that up. I really like their wheels and would almost consider them again, but it just isn't worth it for that kind of money.... |

Need to sometimes be careful with used wheels no matter which brand. Metal can tarnish over time if not maintained even Forged. If the hardware on the wheels were replaced or still fairly new then it is definitly worth it getting used set for the price. If not then spend the little extra to get something you can enjoy in the long run with no hassle. You might be able to find great deal on tires as a lot of dealers have inventory they need to extract. Good luck with your choice |
