Aftermarket Audio Question

Hello all. I am new to this site and would appreciate some assistance.

I am comfortable with installing car audio. This one has got be by the ankles.

I purchased a differential converter and installed it correctly into the F- L/R+, L/R-, Power and Ground. I ran the remote wire, RCAs, 2nd Ground, and Power to my aftermarket amp. I installed the rest of the amp hardware.

I had the Converter power up for about 2 mins and it was bright and showing a good source of power. I am not sure if I hit something, but the power light dimmed to almost nothing.

I am running everything through a Cap (not sure if that needs to be charged before installing to get power to my amp).

My problem is, I am not getting power to my amp or cap. Is there a recommended place on the battery to tap into power?

I know I am all over the place. I just want to get my system to hit. I appreciate any help or advice someone can provide.

Thanks,
Adam

Make sure your cap is charged, I had that problem when my system was first installed.
