Cleaning E93 Seat Trim
I'm looking for some helpful suggestions how I can clean up the dirty seat trim on my E93.
I plan to clean and sand then spray the outer plastic with Color Bond LVP once I figure out how to remove it, but what about the seat release lever? I've tried cleaning it but it's pretty disgusting and faded. ![]() The upper seat belt holder is also faded. Are there any magic cleaning/restoration proucts that would work here? ![]() Then there are the seat belt buckles. My 330i is like this too and I've been looking for a clean solution to restore these. ![]() It's these little details that can make a ratty 16 year old car look new. |

for faded plastics I use blowtorch.
search youtube : faded plastic blowtorch. Work very well, and on seatbealt red button too. Then I use a ceramic coating to protect them. I tried few ''plastic renew'' product, but they dont last. meguiars plastic restorer was ok, but not more. |

I used a magic eraser with a little leather conditioner on mine for the seatbelt buckle red trim, I was surprised it helped quite a bit.

might be safer with a heat gun, but might melt other plastics, since it's hard to focus on one spot. |
