Whats it worth? 330d LCI M Sport

Looking to sell my 330d but not sure what its worth as its a high spec E90 LCI 330d manual M sport. Details here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175779952590

Any ideas on the value of it? Normally i would check similar cars but not many similar spec cars around.

I didn't get any interest on my E91 with slightly more spec when listed at £7.5k on ebay. Mine also had 12k more miles but history and lots spent.

I think its all about finding the right buyer but that's the hard bit. I'd certainly say that in my opinion the market place wants a newer F series on finance (even at £8k more) with less spe
c than an 'old dated' E9x. We're definitely not a country of enthusiasts

Just to add, no interest meaning no offers, though it was advertised as £7.5kono classified ad. Not even dreamers, low ballers etc.

Thanks for the reply, very informative. I wasn't expecting anything near £7.5k.

Do you mind me asking what yours sold for in the end?

Didn't sell. I decided to hang on to it for a while longer. Too much car to part with. Though it will have to go as we've just got too many vehicles in the household. Will probably re advertise at £5.5k and hope for best. Mine has your spec plus sun roof, folding towbar and adaptive cruise.

Decent colour, the car is well specced (although the seats are not heated), good service history, it's manual as well which is rarer, but you're not really helping to make it stand out to prospective buyers with those photos on ebay.

The wheels are dirty, the centre caps are scabby, interior is dirty in places, if you spend a few quid on replacement centre caps (can be had for £7 on eBay) and clean the car thoroughly inside & out, then take some better photos, it should get more interest and hopefully sell.

Mileage will put some people off, but if it's priced right someone will want it, values are all over the place at the moment though.

agree with Rich. Spend a bit of time and a little bit of cash to clean it up a bit and take better photos. See if any of your mates have a decent camera. With car ads first impressions matter

I would think it could go for 4k max if you find the right buyer. Few people about that will want a manual. Mileage is pretty high and as more cities move to low emission zones these will be less desirable

Agreed with the above - having a manual gearbox doesn't have the same attraction on a diesel as it would on a 330i or 335i, which are sought after by enthusiasts as the gearbox suits the revvy petrol engine. ULEZ is also a drag on pre-EURO 6 diesel prices depending on where you are located.

If you're looking to sell at whatever the market values it, put it on eBay with good photos and a low start price, and it will garner some interest which will ultimately find your price. I did exactly that with my previous E91 330i manual, which had high mileage and was pretty basic spec other than leather and iDrive, and I ended up getting what I consider to be a very fair price and sold to a lovely chap. Just ignore those folk who message you with generic questions or just straight up ask for a phone number.
