Brooklyn Grey or Mineral White
Configuring my 2023 (or 2024) M245 xDrive. I am set on the Interior (Red), but still debating the paint choice: either Brooklyn Grey or Mineral White.
Anybody has regrets on the Brooklyn Grey choice after a year? Thnaks!

I debated between the same two colors with the same interior color as you and ended up going Brooklyn gray and am 110% happy with it after 10 months

We’re all going to be biased to some degree. Having said that 100% Brooklyn Grey. Has so much subtle character and even after 6 months I don’t get tired of looking at it.

Another vote for Mineral White. Brooklyn Grey does nothing for me. You'd be more unique (among G42s, at least) in white, too. It's the only color I've never seen in person on a G42.

Decisions … decisions.
Last time I owned a white car is 35 years ago - it was my first 😊 MW with black wheels/accents and with red interior is timeless. I saw BG on a X3. In some light it looks great. In some light it looks like putty or baby blue. I am worried that I am getting tired of BG after a while.

For the majority of my car life I've always been all about white. I had a white BRZ for ten years which i absolutely loved, the satin white pearl is an awesome color. I had a gray S2000 w\ red interior for 6 years which I loved, but was jealous of the white ones I'd see on the road.
2 years ago I was trying to find a used M2 or M3 in white. But, I've always liked Audi's nardo gray and really wanted that color, and when I discovered Brooklyn gray I was sold. A selling point of BG is it always looks good, even dirty. You can't go wrong either way. I went back and forth on color a lot and ultimately went with BG. Nobody can decide for you, if you are more then 50% on one of the 2 colors, go with that color. |

Colour is a very personal choice. I chose black so, if you excuse the pun, I’m neutral on this.
Mineral white really pops in the sunshine. Won’t show marks so much but will show dirt. White cars show black dirt, black cars show light dirt - you can only win that game with silvers and greys. It also looks great with red upholstery but IMHO is a bit feminine in that combo. Reminds me of a boiled sweet. Brooklyn grey is a bit bland for me. Reminds me of primer and still to be painted. It’s not one thing or another. It doesn’t shine like typical metallics do, it’s not a solid colour. It’s not grey - it has blue tints, looks a bit plasticky, it’s meh - just my view. You should also keep in mind the trims. They are gloss black so you have a 3rd colour in the mix. Already people are painting them on the BG. They are a nice contrast on the white. |

My last 3 new BMW's have all been white, Alpine and Mineral... But when I saw Brooklyn Grey on the 2 series, I loved it... And the compliments I get on the colour is unbelievable...

In January 2023, the BMW dealer had 6 2-series cars. Two were the M240i - one white and one BGM.
Blindly, I negotiated 5% off the white one since all 3 of my cars in the garage are white. Dealer agrees. I head to the dealer to finalize the deal and then see the Brooklyn Grey Metallic in that fancy BMW showroom lighting. My wife and I were taken aback. We discussed it for a few minutes and ended up with....... |

I'm 60% Mineral White and 40% BG. The red interior with MW is a great combination. I would be closer to 50% - 50% if you were going with a black interior.
If you're not getting the shadowline package them I'm 100% mineral white and 0% BG. I don't own either a MW or BG, so I'm trying to be unbiased.

Ended up with a MY 2024 to be produced in the first week of August, probably one of the first 2024s.
