N57 engine cold start jerk pull back power loss

I have a 2015 530d only on 80k miles, when starting cold and doing low revs, if I hold the gas steady it will lose power and start jerking/pulling back like its going to stall? I have to quickly give power and hit pedal to bring it back to normal or not hold pedal steady at all.

Anyone seen this happening on diesel car before? It only happens when engine is cold, between 50-95 degrees hot , when gauge hits middle 100 , its fine no issues. Also happens only on speeds up to 40 mph mainly low speeds 20mph

Can you read the codes? Could be glow plug controller but pointless guessing tbh

I had something similar and it was the EGR sticking, you need to scan for error codes to see what is logged, anything else is just guessing, get it scanned.

Being a 2015 530d you'll have the N57 engine and should have had an EGR recall, has it been done?
