wastegate rattle on aftermarket twin turbos?

So Im looking for aftermarket twins. Did my research and found out that rb and pure are the best two options.

I asume that the quality of the turbos them self are top notch and I should not have any problem.

But i could not manage to get any info about the wastegate actuator/arm on these aftermarket turbos.

Do they use a new OEM wastegate mechanism on the td03s? What about td04s?

Or they actually reinforce these parts knowing its a major failing point on the OEM turbos?

The thing is that I just want a good set of twins, that i can just install and run a modest boost level inside of their efficiency range without haveing any issues at all for at least 60k miles/100k km.

I just use the car for fun night drives.
I dont track/ drag race it. Its just a fun toy for me.

I just want maximun relaibality on these turbos, thats my major demand........relaiablity🫡

Email Rob and ask. I believe the wastegate design is described on his website.

All of the RB turbos come with the upgraded billet waste gate parts in them.

As far as what turbos to get.....call up Rob and talk to him. Super nice guy, and is full of great info! I went with the RB Twos...and I've extremely happy with them. I've got the stock DI system maxed out, and I'm making close to 600hp. I'm probably pushing them a little hard....at 25psi on E40. I think they get out of their efficiency range at around around 18-20psi. He makes some OEM billet turbos that are nice also. Lots of options.

As far as wanting to run 60K miles with no issues....that's a tall order. I've heard of stock turbos on stock motors failing well before that....so there is no guarantee that they will last that long. But I've seen some guys post they have over 40K on RB's also...so who knows.

If this is your "fun, weekend, play" car........it's going to take you 20 years to put 60K miles on the thing
