Please help!! Code P0456

2010 BMW 328i AWD N51

CEL is ON with code P0456 tried to delete code but no luck.

Car is running fine with normal mpg all I want is to fix it so CEL turns off. Gas cap looks fine should I look toward replacing the Leak Detection Pump LDP Bosch?

I have the same P0456 permanent code on my 2012 F30 335i. Luckily, it's not triggering the Service Engine Soon light. I'm ready to buy these parts if needed, but for now I will leave it as is.

16-13-1-183-912 Leak Detect Pump Grommet
16-13-7-438-487 Vent Pipe
16-13-7-333-302 Evaporative Emissions System Leak Detection Assembly

** Please notice above parts are for N55 engine **

On second thoughts, do a smoke test first. That's what my mechanic recommended before buying any parts.

***Update***
I was actually able to clear the code for now with my cheapo OBD2 scanner! Fingers crossed to see if code returns.

Ordered a new fuel cap for the hell of it was $15 and had a gift card.
