N51 secondary air issues

I have a 2009 328i with N51. Car is in excellent shape, 96k miles, and well cared for, but recently got the dreaded P0492/ 2A00 codes. The air pump and valve were replaced under SULEV warranty, but the ports in the cylinder head are apparently clogged.

The only fix is to remove the head for cleaning at an independent shop, or in the case of the dealer replace the entire otherwise good cylinder head. I don't have smog in my state, just regular emissions testing. Is there any way to code out the air pump and have the system not look for it without failing emissions? Otherwise I think I'll have to do the head cleaning.

Thanks.
