Link your BMW Elan MasterCard to Amazon

Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t know this. Elan sent me an email, and I can use all 14,000 of my points through Amazon. The option is about $142. Which is far more useable than using the points on the card in their store.

I ignored that email as usually apply pts to a BMWFS account with the bonus. Surprised I needed to re-add the card to take affect as it was already on my account. Better go send another pmt to FS else my 75k pts will go fast with impulse Amazon purchases which now would be "free".

I just use points as cash back on the credit card itself (statement credit).

I even have the Amazon/WF visa, but still only redeem points for cash back to credit account.

Yes, cash back is definitely another option. I’m just always looking for discounts to solidify my reasoning behind buying something expensive. I recently just bought a $250 vacuum for $109. I wanted the vacuum, I just couldn’t stomach $250 for it. I used some points, and that was that.
