2007 335i crank but no start

Problem started when I had a bad batch of fuel where it sputtered and died on me. Drained all the gas out and put new gas in and it still cranks and does not start. Also the battery was completely dead after continuous cranking and not holding a charge so I bought a new one and registered it, problem persists. Also, there are no codes being thrown at all. I can hear a whirring noise from the engine bay when I try to turn it over. Before I throw any more parts at the car, if anyone can chime in or had something similar I'd love some advice, thank you!

Have you verified the fuel pressure is within spec?

80 PSI when cranking.

Plugs were a little crispy, changed them, gapped to .22 and problem still persists. Battery reads 12.4V when stationary drops to 10.8 when cranking
