Input needed - F22 Wheels/tires on a 2011 328i E90
I found a set of snow tires mounted on 2015 228i wheels. I have been looking for over a month. They are factory BMW 7" width wheels with 205/50/17 Blizzak snow tires (8mm of tread left on them, only used 1 season). The book says they are ET40 (with an offset range of 38-42), while my factory BMW wheels have an offset range or 32-36 purportedly (I have 8" width wheels running 225/45/17 tires). Lastly, the lug bolts on the F22 are M14 while the lug bolts on my E90 are M12 -- as long as the seat diameter and shape on the 228 donor wheels are the same, it should work I would assume? Also, I am assuming the F22 wheels will work just fine despite the less aggressive offset since the wheel width is 7" vs. 8" but just wanted to confirm. I realize these will be a bit tucked in the wheel wells and not as aesthetically appealing as my factory wheels, but I will only have them on during the Winter months. Thanks in advance for any feedback/advice. Also wondering how you guys like Blizzak snow tires vs. Michelin X-ice.
