328i E90 Ground wire locations.

I have a 2007 Pre LCI 328i E90 with a passenger airbag light that keeps flickering on and off randomly, as well as it has a coolant temp mismatch code being thrown that randomly comes on. As well as a brake light and a few other lights that im pretty sure are ground related.

The motor is not the same one it came with. It was a donor motor swapped out by the previous owner. Its still the N52.

starts and runs fine
Door lock on pass front does trigger up and down a few times when lock/unlock is pushed
All lights are okay with no flickering(i do have a light out notification, but my driver angel eye is burnt out. So im aware of that)

Can anyone tell me where all the grounds are for the 328i. I only see things about the engine bay and i want to test all of the grounds to be sure.

Side note. My code reader shows no codes(waiting on another reader that does SRS and ABS systems too, as mine does not do those)

Sounds like way more than a grounding issue more like a flood car.

I'm not a ground strap locating expert but check out real OEM website which has all of the great diagrams and part numbers. Pelican Parts also has some great write ups and DIY how too's

there are 2 ground straps on a 328. One on the right side from the exhaust manifold to the strut mount and the other is on the left side from the motor mount to the body (under car). Sounds like you either have a bad Footwell module or a bad voltage regulator in the alternator.
