Good day,

I have some issues with my E90 318i automatic regarding NOx problemes. I paid 400 euros for NOx off soft. It took around 2hrs and now, after reading the forum i understand this is not so good for the engine.

How this one affect the engine ? I chose this solutions just to avoid to pay 500 euros for NOx original sensor. Like before of NOx off soft i still have rough idle running, vibrations and miss fire on cyl 4.

Gentlemen, any info regarding this NOx off soft (it was done by a "professional" guy).

No diesel 4 cylinder engines or 4 cylinder engines in the United States for
the e90 series. so expertise on those is low here. We are always hearing about
timing chain issues on the 4 cylinders from that period.

there is not nox soft off solution. bmw simply didn't made such firmware because this engine was not shipped to countries with bad fuel officially
