Hi all, 1st time posting so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2007 E93 325ci. My problem is that I am getting a click from starter but no go.
Changed battery for a brand new one, still just a click when trying to start so my next route to go was change the starter as recommended by the many posts I've read. Brand new starter fitted still just a click but no go.

Checked all the usual, earth from engine to chassis ect. but all good. Tried a jump lead from engine to earth point on chassis still no joy.
Connected another battery to jump points under bonnet and car starts.
Have 12.67v at battery but only 3.53v up at positive jump pole??anybody any idea where my volts have gone??

the wire underbody from starter to battery probably corroded outside nearby the basket where battery is located

Battery cable is corroded at the terminal that sits down the side of the battery, under the battery tray. Terminal is submerged under 3inches of water😡
